IP Rating and Weatherproofing Standards

Our outdoor clocks carry IP44 as standard. Premium models are rated IP55 or IP65 for direct rain exposure. All outdoor clocks use Japanese sealed quartz movements rated from -10 degrees C to +50 degrees C operating range.

Salt Spray Resistance

For coastal environments, we apply Electrophoretic Deposition (E-coating) on metal components for salt spray resistance exceeding 500 hours (ASTM B117). 316 stainless steel hardware is standard on premium outdoor models.
